SB 262 / Fla. Stat. § 501.701 et seq. (Ch. 2023-201)
Comprehensive privacy law applying only to controllers with $1B+ global annual revenue (narrow scope). Grants consumers rights to access, correct, delete, and opt out of sale, targeted advertising, and profiling. Includes specific provisions on children's data — prohibits online platforms from processing child data without consent — plus voice and facial recognition provisions, and requires opt-in consent for processing sensitive data. AG enforcement only.
