Creates an education data governance and AI working group to recommend safe AI use in New Mexico public schools. K-12 focused. While not yet prescriptive, working group recommendations expected to evolve into concrete vendor vetting and use-case guidance that districts must follow. Foundational step toward New Mexico AI regulation in education. Passed House 63-0 Mar 19, 2025; signed Apr 8, 2025. (House Memorial 2 — not HB 2; NM HB 2 (2025) is the General Appropriation Act.)
