OR HB 2008 (2025 Regular Session), Ch. 251
Prohibits sale of personal data when a business has actual knowledge a consumer is under 16. Restricts sale of precise geolocation data collected within a 1,750-foot radius of the consumer's location — no consent can override this ban. Enhanced sensitivity protections for all minors' data categories. Effective January 1, 2026.

Comprehensive privacy law covering entities processing data of 100,000+ Oregon consumers or 25,000+ if 25%+ of gross revenue comes from data sales. Consumer rights: access, correction, deletion, portability, opt-out (targeted advertising, data sales, significant-effect profiling). Recognizes universal opt-out mechanism signals. Expanded protections for sensitive data categories.
